More fairways ... more pars!

During this drill we will focus on choosing your correct target.

Think of a fairway as a target used in archery. It has a center point, and several outlying “rings”. You aim at the center.

Hitting fairways is the same. By choosing an exact target, you are zeroing in on the center of your goal. All your focus can be concentrated like a laser.

This week, before you hit your tee shot, find the Bullseye of the target. It may be a tree branch, a sprinkler, an dark spot in the fairway, or the edge of a distant bunker.

Bring all your concentration on that single spot. Now you can use your alignment techniques to hit the ball where you’re looking.
