| Know Your Risk |
|
Submitted By: Eyeline Team Hitting fairways is a combination of having a correct target, and hitting the correct shot. During this drill we want to focus on training to know the percentages of our “risks”. Hitting driver is not always the right play, but neither is hitting 2 iron. Only by knowing the yardages of each club, and the accuracy percentages can we make a decision on the correct club selection. In the diagram, it looks like the correct club is the orange line. The red (driver) has too much risk, and the other clubs are too short to eliminate the trees on the corner. Do you know your yardages and accuracy? If you do, this is an easy choice. More Fairways … more fun! |
